SUMMARY:

Thus, through our enriching internship program, we help develop the next generation of engineers and technologists.

As an Electronics Simulation Research and Development Intern, you will join a team responsible for the R&D of state-of-the-art electromagnetics, circuit and system simulators.

This is a 40-hour per week paid position, starting May 2025 and concluding August 2025.

 

This is a research project related to machine learning. We hope to utilize the existing machine learning capabilities to explore possibilities in improving hybrid solvers:

 

  • Study and summarize existing machine learning algorithms and frameworks used in the team and the company. 
  • Apply one or more machine learning techniques to make predictions on decisions that potentially appear during simulation.
  • Dynamically refine the prediction when more information is available during the progress of the simulation
  • Summarize findings and present research achievements

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in a Canadian university 
  • Pursing a Masters or PHD Comp Sci, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • Familiarity with machine learning and experience with ML related projects
  • Familiar with programming languages (Python, C++, etc.)

Preferred:

  • PHD Preferred
  • Python experience preferred
