Responsibilities

• Work with end-to-end system engineers to help design high performance and high availability distributed systems
• Apply cutting-edge computational geometry, image processing, computer vision and machine learning to tackle the long tail of real-world situations
• Build machine learning models to detect/classify objects, and integrate the ML components into the production perception pipeline

Required Skills

• Experience in implementing robust, safety-critical code, efficient in Python or C++
• Currently pursuing MS or PhD in CS, EE, or related field
• Deep understanding of machine learning principles and methodologies
• Experience applying and tuning deep neural networks in large-scale, data-driven applications
• Strong familiarity with state-of-the-art machine learning tools, computational geometry, image processing, and computer vision features and techniques

Preferred Skills

• Past experiences in motion tracking, semantic segmentation, object recognition and/or robotics
• Experience working with autonomous vehicles
