Job Description

Key deliverables applicable to this role:

• Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
• Experience with entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other modelling techniques.
• Expertise in various database management systems (e.g., relational, NoSQL).
• Understanding of database architecture, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience in integrating data from disparate sources.
• Knowledge of data security principles and best practices.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with data regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Implementing access controls, encryption, and data masking techniques.
• Experience in implementing master data management solutions.

Qualifications

The following experience, competencies and skillsets are applicable to this role:

• Understanding of data architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Applying architecture principles to design scalable and flexible data architectures.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Designing data architectures for cloud environments.
• Managing metadata to provide context and lineage for data assets.
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams for data-driven decision making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
