As Supply Chain and Master Data Manager, you are responsible for the affiliate Master Data processes designed to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of the master data in the ERP or planning System, in accordance with local and global requirements. In the capacity of Materials Planner, you will also drive the tactical purchasing process for defined portfolio of finished goods to ensure materials availability and execution plan feasibility in accordance with affiliate inventory policy.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Master Data:

  • Ensures, defines and governs consistent master data throughout the whole master data life cycle and global business processes.  Defines the matrix of responsibilities within the MD process and the person that defines the parameter, the person who updates SAP with the right values.

  • Creates new codes / extension of new codes as requested by the organization.

  • Ensures that local material master data integrity and quality is established by analyzing basic requirements, maintaining the attributes in the systems and assuring all data introduced in the system is reliable and comes from the correct sources.  Challenges data consistency and completeness and verifies, corrects and completes requests for data maintenance, complying with Global Master Data processes and related SOPs.

  • Identifies areas for improvement regarding Global Material Master processes, tools and rules and supports improvement processes.

  • Updates the key master data fields e.g. pricing, planning parameters, sales org details etc. based on the inputs received from different functions.

  • Works closely with global master data teams to ensure best practices and seamless collaboration.

  • Ensures permanent data quality and assists in database cleaning.

Planning :

  • Establishes optimal purchase schedule for the tactical horizon from month 3-18 months depending on lead time & supply constraints, in alignment with inventory coverage.

  • Coordinates action plans with suppliers / site customer service team to resolve constraints and manage supply KPI reporting and analysis.

  • Ensures correct level of SKU Inventories at the next point of the supply chain & ensures there are no stockouts due to planning reasons.

  • Owns planning parameters in ERP System & updates late delivery dates in system.

  • Facilitates Supply Review Meeting and actively supports the entire Sales and Business Planning (S&BP) process with the business.

  • Ensures that customers have clear visibility of the current valid supply plan and monitors the delivery commitments in terms of quantities and timelines and in accordance to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

What you’ll bring to the role:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain, including previous experience in Master Data Management, Supply and Material Planning, Order Planning & inventory Management

  • Solid understanding of SAP planning system and APO

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Deep GxP understanding

  • Project Management, operations management and execution skills

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a cross functional environment

  • Proven collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.  German is highly beneficial.
