OVERVIEW:

Be part of a team that produces and analyzes statistics for professional sports broadcasts and other affiliates, such as Fox Sports, CBS, the Associated Press, and various other sports related content. The Broadcast Research Analyst is responsible for producing specialized sports statistics reports that will be used by TV broadcasters and other researchers in preparation for upcoming games and during live events.

Sportradar analysts must have flexibility in their schedule as working hours include evening shifts and weekends to cover live events for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and college sports.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Fundamental understanding of major sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) 
  • Works effectively under pressure and maintains a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain high attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about sports.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Experience with programming/coding (SQL, XML, Python, HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Data analysis and reporting experience preferred.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Generate, analyze, and adjust custom reports based on client needs.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with league partners, teams and researchers.
  • Meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Identify potential quality issues and escalate as needed.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as needed.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work weeknights and weekends.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $25-30/hour
Sportradar intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. Base pay is just one component of the Total Rewards that Sportradar provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
