Analytics (AN) covers the promoting of data science to demystify big data and unlock new business potentials from complex data sources. This covers a huge scope: from classical data gathering and business intelligence, through designing and implementing machine learning, all the way to architecting systems that automate data gathering, analytics, and integrating their outcome into other applications. Determines the foundation for data driven and fact based decision making. Provides the tools and intelligence to formulate strategies and future business development plans.
Subfamily Description
Analytics Data Architecture & Quality (ADA) comprises the design, architecture, and development of scalable data models, test and maintain systems and processes to collect, transform, store, and enable analysis of structured and unstructured data, taking into account considerations related to privacy, security, reliability, and scalability. Contains curation of data and ensures data quality and integrity. Covers creation and maintenance of a data dictionary of all key sources and tables. Comprises documentation of key stakeholders and dependencies as well as the gathering, clarification, and translation of business and data requirements into documentations and conceptual designs from which technical solutions are developed. Contains advising of clients on appropriate data governance capabilities.
• Overall responsibility for ML Engineering tasks
• Leads and executes technical activities and programmes within own responsibility area including reviews and relevant technical studies.
• Plans, designs, executes, analyses, reports and documents items in own area.
• Writes requirements, specifications and other guiding documentation for R&D from product / program / system point of view.
• Design and defines re-use principles.
• Participates in definition of technology and other roadmaps.
• Works over product or system borders in technical issues.
• Develops tools, methods and processes linked to the job.
• Estimates work amounts in own process area (product or system level estimations).
• Supports resource planning and organising.
• Consults, supports and guides own technical area's external interfaces.
• Is responsible for sharing knowledge and training in his / her expertise area.
• Seeks and communicates cost efficient solutions over business lines.
• Leads problem isolation and resolution solving for serious problems.
• Can develop software, understands testing and quality assurance concepts. Knows, applies and enhances Nokia QA processes.
Strong background in ML Engineering including telecom background which includes sound understanding of IP Data Networks and protocols and good understanding of CDMA, UMTS, LTE Wireless Data Network architecture
- Proven experience of ML Engineering skills within MLOps environment. Should have good experience with regards to Data Infrastructure, building data pipelines, data transformation etc.
- Strong programming skills and expertise in machine learning algorithms. They are familiar with tools and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and are skilled in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment (Unix Shell, R, Python…)
- Comfortable performing analytics on business intelligence tools like R, Python, Tableau, Excel, etc.
- Strong verbal, written and visual articulation skills using PowerPoint to effectively communicate complex ideas.
- Ability to work with both technical and management layers in customers
- Familiarity with end customer surveys, such as satisfaction surveys and Net Promoter Score measurement
- Strong academic record with a minimum of Bachelors in computer science or mathematics from a reputable institution
