About this role
SIOP Director, Data Analytics and Reporting will lead the overall master data governance and data stewardship required to run the SIOP process. This role will own and drive overall SIOP digital transformation and help align to operations and company strategy. Deliver transformation roadmap toward more autonomous planning. Translate Operations and Business Unit SIOP digital requirements to develop SIOP capabilities at scale. Work with the SIOP Business Unit Leads and SIOP Center of Excellence to develop and deliver the digital roadmap for SIOP digitization.
Key Responsibilities
Own the overall reporting and dashboard delivery for SIOP KPIs.
Develop and deliver succinct, relevant, and timely reporting to support the SIOP processes.
Partner with DT team to ensure capabilities aligned to the SIOP User Stories are delivered at high quality and on-time.
Build capabilities for Statistical/Algorithmic forecasting for baseline forecasts
Create automation for demand sensing working with the SIOP COE and BU leads Implement Inventory MEIO strategies to deliver to the BU inventory goals
Manage the performance of the end to end SIOP process by tracking and reporting on KPIs for planning and inventory management
Drive improvements in demand and inventory planning forecast accuracy by addressing sources of variation and develop learning feedback loops to drive continuous improvement
Assess adoption of workflow management tools, automation, and AI/ML intelligence to reduce SIOP process related man hours.
Diagnose the root causes of forecast error by using appropriate aggregate metrics for analyzing the forecast error. Report the overall demand forecast accuracy by using weighted forecast error metrics.
Drive urgency with business partners by reporting the financial impact of forecast errors
Manage the performance of the end-to-end SIOP process by tracking and reporting on KPIs for planning and inventory management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10+ year’s experience in Business Operations, Finance , IT, Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Inventory Management
Ability to travel 20%
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Finance
CPSM or APICS certifications
Advanced capability in Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience participating in an SIOP process
Experience with $2B–10B+ businesses
Proven success in business process optimization and transformation
Ability to drive change and transformation across different stakeholders
Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience
Strong business acumen specific to Inventory, Revenue, Units, and Margin
Confidence in clearly presenting to executives and large groups Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with inventory and forecast optimization
Experience using and/or implementing advanced tools and system for planning and inventory management
