About this role

Carrier Supply Chain in Palm Beach Gardens is searching for a Specialist - Supply Planning Reporting & Analytics who will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting global supply demand and capacity patterns that drive insights and strategic decision-making related to the overall Supply Planning Review process. This is done in conjunction with Sales and Operations Planning(S&OP).

This is a remote role for a person living in the USA. Preferred locations are Palm Beach Gardens FL, Charlotte NC, Indianapolis IN, and Atlanta GA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of supply planning data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Proactively build reports to identify and predict supplier demand-capacity gaps and drive actions to mitigate
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to transform complex data sets into meaningful insights
  • Use tools such as VBA /Python/Excel to aid machine learning and increase automation
  • Identify current and past vendors’ performance, define reliability and predict potential shortages
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data governance practices
  • Develop and maintain data cleansing processes, validation checks, and data quality standards to improve the reliability of spending data
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness, together with the Supply Chain and S&OP teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics
  • 5+ years of experience working with data analysis tools 

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT or Business
  • S&OP and Supply Planning
  • Excel, SQL, Python and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Strategic thinking- ability to think through and independently
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Work effectively within teams
  • Collaborate with multiple global stakeholders for completion of projects
  • English communication and presentation skills and communicating complex ideas
  • Advanced statistical techniques and predictive analytics
