[What you will be working on] 

As part of our team, you'll be involved in the following key areas: 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop new compliance tools and initiatives. 
  • Prepare and analyse data, as well as develop and maintain analytics models to understand taxpayer segments, predict behaviours, detect fraud and non-compliance, and develop intervention measures for GST compliance. 
  • Develop interactive dashboards that support reporting and performance monitoring. 
  • Provide basic training on the application of analytical tools to end-user officers. 
  • Facilitate data sharing with internal and external stakeholders, working closely to understand and fulfil data requirements, and adhering to the data governance framework. 
  • Review and operationalise data policies and procedures to comply with relevant guidelines and frameworks. 

 

[What we are looking for] 

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Computer Science, Data Analytics or Statistics-related fields are preferred. 
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a logical and organised approach to handling and analysing information. 
  • Inquisitive mindset with the ability to question, probe, and analyse data effectively. 
  • Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
