The DA Community is a team of cohorts working for Global Business Services (GBS) and we together with other technological platform like Power Stack are called GBS Analytics team. The DA team is eminent in handling the data requests from customers and focus mainly on Data Quality, Data Consistency and Data Completeness as demanded and asked by each customer on their requirement. Every individual DA in team has DE skills and have worked on ETL tools, excellent in applying the DW concepts and understands the Data visualization platforms needs and requirements, we also create lot of data models to build the requirement crystal clear from the start of the SDLC projects. 

Mandatory Skills: 

• Should be able to Understand the Business Requirements or Problem statements and show ability to interpret or derive the technical data points in terms of Data Analysts Skills. 

• Should have experience working with various Source systems (SAP, RDBMS, RDM, Legacy Systems) and data integration knowledge by using any ETL tools. 

• Should possess knowledge on DW methodologies and best practices followed in the projects as experience. 

• Should have good Data analytical skills in (Excel, SQL, or any standard tools in Market) and produce outcome with best data standards for SDLC phase. 

• Should have experience in creating effective data models (CDM/LDM) using Data modelling tools and should know other data modelling skills to best fit the data requirements for a given project. 

• Should be eminent and precise in preparing the artifacts needed for the Data Analyst and should have experience in defect handling, RCA, Hyper care monitoring and Post deployment activities. 

• Should be good in Agile Delivery Process 

• Should show sound personality and character in Stakeholder Management 

• Should have set some best standards in Team management skills in their experience. 

• Ability to work with cross functional teams and playing a team member for product delivery is must. 

• Basics of Reporting Platforms – (SAP BO/MSTR/Cognos/PBI/QlikView/OBIEE) etc. 

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Data Engineering Experience is Must, So the candidate can be an experienced DE who potentially developed skills and now playing a Data Analyst role. 

• Else, the candidate is still a DE with good experience in the DW platform and has data modelling skills and showed talent in his projects and aspiring for Data Analyst role. 

• The candidate should have good Data Analysis skills and should have known different analysis methods and experience in handling the same and with huge volume of data. 

• Data modelling. 

• Supports data Investigation via ETL & SQL. 

Note: We are not looking for candidates currently in Data Visualization platform or developing reports, as the current role we are looking will not meet their aspiration. 

Desirable Skills  

Experience of working within a global organisation, preferably within the pharmaceuticals sector. 

 Technology: 

RDBMS – MS SQL, Oracle, Teradata, Postgres, Redshift, or any Cloud based DBMS. 

Scripting – SQL Must, Python, J- Scripts, Power shell etc. 

ETL Tools- Informatica, Talend, Snaplogic, Snowflake etc. 

Data Modelling – Irwin, Enterprise Architect, Confluence- Gliffy, ER Studio etc. 

BI tools – SAP BO, Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, Microstrategy etc.
