Cloud Database Administrator

Cloud DBA:

• BE/Btech/equivalent Degree with relevant experience of 3 to 5 years is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
• 3-5 years of Core DBA Skills across one or more core database flavours (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or NOSQL equivalents)  on cloud
• Database Installation, Configuration and Patching
• Backup and Recovery, Data Import/Export Technologies
• Automation
• Database Performance Tuning
• Monitoring Platforms
• Problem diagnoses, manageability and operations

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of Experience in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
• Cloud solutioning for Data Replication, Database Security, Encryption, Compression and Data Masking/Redaction
• Experience in Migration and Consolidation of On-Prem to Cloud footprint
• High Availability, MAA and Disaster Recovery and replication
• Very large databases and in-memory database solutions
• Data replication software (GoldenGate, kafka etc)
• A cloud certification (such as AWS / GCP cloud certification) is highly desirable
