AI/ML Engineer

About the Project:

• Utilise NLP and Large Language Models to ingest and analyse new regulations, in order to understand the impact on the bank’s policies and regulatory stance. Automate the generation of business requirements and user stories consistently from the regulatory text and validation rules. Ensure the data lineage and traceability from BRD to reg text, validation rules through to code and use of NLP to interpret functional business logic from source code.
• Implement a ML model to learn from trade flow exceptions, IB Operations user interactions, and commentaries. Recommend precise actions to resolve exceptions and predict trade and transaction reporting issues on the trade date. Develop an AI agent to automate resolution of exceptions and actions where possible.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ Years hands on experience within the Engineering space.
• Extensive experience in NLP and working with Large Language Models.
• Proficient in full stack development and familiar with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Strong background in machine learning, particularly in supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a good understanding of trade lifecycle, exceptions management, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or similar languages used in data science and AI development.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory text into clear, actionable business requirements.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data lineage tools and the ability to ensure traceability across the project lifecycle.
