Job Description Summary

               

As a Data Management Analyst, you will create and maintain data according to business rules, governance standards and policy in Both SAP and ASI that will include all areas rolling up to the Master Data Team, Business Partner, Material and Customer elements. You will be the subject matter expert for your area and provide support to project teams and governance as we grow and evolve. Front end analysis is required to verify requests for consistency, completeness, and 100% accuracy upon entry. Will assist with the completion of basic system configuration changes for current business applications. Assists in complex projects/research to define business systems requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. This position will play a support role to the Master Data Management team.

Job Description

This position requires experience and business knowledge in the definition and management of the different Business Partner types. These include customer (sold-to, bill-to, ship-to, payer), vendor, employees, customer contacts, etc. A broad end-to end-understanding of different processes, and how applicable to partners, will be critical for guiding various teams on how to utilize and populate the diverse fields in the distinct business processes and analytical scenarios. 

 

  • Maintain knowledge and experience of SAP S4/HANA. 

  • Maintain knowledge and experience of ASI master records. 

  • Be the subject matter expert on your area and provide support to all teams. 

  • Measure adherence to defined service level agreements, key performance indicators, and data quality standards. 

  • Continue to look for and drive process improvements. 

  • Takes work direction from the Master Data Management Supervisor and Data Governance Business Partners. 

  • Highlight any areas where adherence is an issue, or new business rules, standards, or policy needs. 

  • Validate and syndicate changes to master data (Business Partner and Material) as approved by business review process including but not limited to requests to create, change, extend, block/unblock, activate/deactivate, or otherwise modify master data. 

  • Perform data preparation, cleansing, analysis, and manipulation. 

  • Create, review, and maintain quality process documentation (Business process documents, process flows, policies and procedures, strategies, etc.) 

  • Perform and execute tasks in the ServiceNow platform. 

  • Prioritize effectively across operational needs and project work.  

  • Enable overall improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data. 

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience with minimum 2 years related experience analyzing, validating, and posting data.
  • Prefer some experience and knowledge of departmental functions, terminology, and interrelationships for data types such as: Customer (Create and Change, Accts Receivable, Finance, Sales & Mktg, Customer Support, etc.), Vendor (Create and Change, Procurement, Supply Chain, Accts Payable, etc.), and Material (Create and Change, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc.).
  • Passionate attitude toward data quality with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, high transaction team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with ASI, and S/4HANA for master data creation and maintenance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects, be organized and plan ahead.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to complete quality work within defined service targets in situations with tight turnarounds and deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ServiceNow and ability to comfortably navigate multiple databases.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement.
  • Capacity to consistently apply standard policies and procedures and support their creation.
  • Flexibility to provide support to multiple roles within data governance.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $61,320.00 - $91,990.00
