MAIN MISSIONS 

Reporting to the Supply Planning Platform and Transformation Director, the Master Data Manager plays a major role in the management and transformation of the Group's data. He/she guarantees data integrity and ensures that the Group's needs are met throughout the value chain.

 

As such, he/she will, within the Supply Planning Platform & Transformation entity to which he/she belongs, for example:

  • Lead the management of data (customers, finished products and other coded items, suppliers) in the repositories via a team of 5 people, 70 to 90 local relays (BUs and plants), 1,000 contributors and data owners.
  • Define internal and external policies, standards and rules related to the management of the Group's data, and establish action plans to guarantee data integrity and compliance, while preventing risks (fraud, customer expectations) and conflicts of interest (management of waivers)
  • Ensure continuous improvement: data cleansing, cross-checking, hierarchies, and linking the database to systems.
  • Model and extract data to ensure collection and reorganization to provide visibility across the value chain: from insights to values; Big Data approach.
  • BPO role for master data management: evolution of management tools and workflows (internal and external), definition of standards and procedures, assessment and development of skills
  • Recommend/manage projects and changes within the organization (shared service centers between clusters) and item life cycle management processes.

 

PROFILE AND REQUIRED SKILLS 

 

  • You have at least 5 years' experience and you are proactive and autonomous, with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • You have skills in project management, change management, cross-functional management and risk management.
  • You have analytical, technical and IT skills, with experience in mathematics, technology, business intelligence, data mining or statistics.
  • You have a strong digital culture.
  • You have an analytical and synthesizing mind.
  • You have an eye for detail, understanding of business needs and problem-solving communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • You have influence and the ability to create and maintain a network.
  • You have worked in an international environment and are fluent in both spoken and written English.
