On behalf of our client, ELPEDISON, we are looking to recruit a Machine Learning Specialist.

This role offers a direct contractual association with Elpedison, ensuring that you become an integral part of our client's payroll and contribute your skills to their esteemed organization. Please be aware that our role is exclusively focused on overseeing the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to develop data-driven solutions.
  • Identifies potential use cases and collaborates with business stakeholders to mature the use of AI/ML within their respective organizations.
  • Designs and develops machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence software to automate business tasks and provide predictive models.
  • Builds and maintains an inventory of current and potential future AI/ML use cases to improve awareness and understanding of AI/ML potential value.
  • Provides high-level AI/ML subject matter expertise to inform strategic decisions and project planning.
  • Designs and develops ML algorithms and AI software to automate business tasks and provide predictive models, and integrates them into software systems.
  • Transforms data science prototypes and applies appropriate ML algorithms and tools.
  • Solves complex problems with multi-layered data sets, and optimizes existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
  • Monitors machine learning models in production to ensure they continue to perform effectively and generate accurate user recommendations.
  • Performs statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of AI/ML models.
  • Turns unstructured data into useful information by leveraging modern technologies and communicates effectively with technical and non-technical. stakeholders in order to interpret the results for further usage.

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or relevant field
  • MSc will be considered a strong asset.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Machine Learning, Data Science or relevant analytics role.
  • Prior experience in the energy sector will be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java.
  • Experience in developing and deploying ML models in a production environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts and platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Strong understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts relevant to machine learning.
  • Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a result driven mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and stay up to date with the latest trends in the field.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.   
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
