The Role  

Metropolis is seeking a Director of GTM Analytics to analyze business and revenue data, customer data, conduct market research, and generate insights to inform strategic decision-making.   

This role will build a team of analytics professionals in transforming data into actionable insights and identification of future product and service options. This position works closely with cross functional partners in Product, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing and ensures data driven decision making which yields stakeholder satisfaction and company growth. Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue Operations, this role will be responsible for orchestrating the strategic and operational aspects of sales within the organization. 

 

Responsibilities   

  • Develop strategies to improve GTM performance through data analysis and insights. This involves close collaboration with the sales team, deployment team, senior management, and other departments. Identify areas for process improvement within the sales operations, such as lead generation, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.

  • Implement best practices and automation solutions to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. 

  • Oversee the management of revenue data and ensure its accuracy, completeness, and security. 

  • Exist as a central point of truth for audience reporting, identifying trends and collaborating with operational leadership to agree to and monitor new strategies as necessary.

  • Drives continuous improvement and innovation to support the company's growth and competitiveness.

  • Oversee the management of the sales pipeline, ensuring its accuracy, health, and alignment with revenue targets.

  • Develop and maintain sales KPIs, dashboards, and reports to monitor performance, track progress against goals, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.  

 

Requirements and Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Seasoned professional with a strong background in sales operations or related fields, ideally with 7-8+ years of experience.  

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly in overseeing sales analysts, and driving data-driven decisions and processes.   

  • Experience using computer science language such as Python 

  • Proficiency using data visualization platforms and working with Data teams. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.   

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across departments.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $175,000.00 to 215,000.00 annually. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base pay is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
