Data Engineer

Job Description:

As a Talend developer you will have experience in an IT Business Intelligence role, be an excellent communicator, possess strong analytical skills with an ability to understand business requirements and identify the most appropriate BI solution.Skills and experience is essential in the following: 

• Talend Studio 8 ETL developer - including TMS or TAC cloud management
• MS SQL Server management
• Experience in tools MS SQL Server BI stack, including power query, PowerBI and DAX.
• Skills and experience in several in the following tools is desirable:
• To design, develop and deploy Talend ETL data datasets, transformations and data loading to MSSQL server.
• SAP BO / SAP BI (Web Intelligence, IDT, Design Studio, SAP Lumira)
• SAP Data Services
• SAP BW
• SQL server management and scripting
• Power BI reporting
• Oracle SQL server Management
• Understand and convert business requirements into technical specifications.

•You will possess the following personal characteristics: 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to be innovative and conceptualise
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good team worker with ability to influence and motivate
• Must be eligible to achieve MoD SC clearance
