Specialist, Merchandising Data Governance

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Manager- Merchandising Data Governance, the Specialist will be accountable to work with merchandising and digital teams in solving user issues. You will have to understand Merchandising/Assortment requirements and conduct various operational tasks.

• Identify root causes and proactively look for improvements to eliminate or reduce possible issues

• There will be an equal split between operational tasks, report running and business analysis.

• Ensure proper support procedures, documentation, and tools are in place to support the various projects and internal users

• Build and sustain EUCs, data uploads, conduct UAT and manage group mailbox.

• Conduct basic data-pull from source and provide inferences to facilitate decision making

What you bring

• 1-3 years of experience, preferably in retail industry will be considered an asset; New graduates are welcome to apply

• Exposure to PowerApps, Python, Microsoft Excel (vba) and Microsoft Access will be considered an asset

• Exposure to retail merchandising concepts and data-analysis will be considered an asset.

• Demonstrated problem solving experience and strong analytical skills

• Flexible, with ability to adapt to change and ambiguity
