The Data Management / Governance Analyst role is an integral team member who works with the various customer groups to support architectural activities related to cloud modernization activities. For this role, the candidate will work directly with the customer and team members to help the various customers achieve their objectives.


Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience is required.
  • Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems.
  • This position is Hybrid, with a requirement come to the office located in Silver Spring M.D. once a week. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Subject Matter Experts have an appropriate understanding of the business/technical modeling methodology and Models.
  • Identify, improve, and iterate on big opportunities that improve how data is stored, accessed, processed and used
  • Experience with the creation and adoption of data management practices and policies, helping teams introduce new technologies and innovate more easily
  • Deep understanding of data privacy regulations/implications in a healthcare environment
  • Familiar with Collecting and analyzing data to support decision making and process improvements.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to collaborate with engineering partners to make informed decisions on data architecture, data management, and integration of third-party services, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions
  • Expand documentation and knowledge of business processes relative to available data to provide contextual guidance for operation/project, reporting and insights generation
  • Document business process solutions using industry standard flowcharting and documentation conventions in the form of service requests, requirements and specification documents, business process modeling.
  • Familiar with creating/maintaining enterprise data model and data dictionary. Help development data management policies to optimize sharing of information.
  • Determine the most appropriate use of business/technical modeling to solve business issues
  • Determine and create project deliverables.
  • Demonstrated educational concentration in business and must be proficient in business/technical modeling.

  • In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be Authorized to work in the US

  • Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

Other Information:

  • The salary for this position is $80,000 - $115,000 annually
