Data Analyst

Description

The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting various teams across the company by producing reporting, meaningful analyses, and actionable insights. The analyst helps visualize results in an informative way to assist in objective, reliable, and strategic decision-making. The Data Analyst works in a fast-paced team environment and contributes to technical and business projects.

Responsibilities:

Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Create reports and other data solutions, serving as SME on the company’s reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis and analytics projects.
• Collaborate across Data & Analytics to meet the company’s data needs.
• Contribute to automation and innovation initiatives.
• Perform basic administration of BI Solution.

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or another data-intensive role
• Expertise in MS Excel and one or more enterprise BI solutions (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with programming best practices and data analysis solutions preferred.
• Background in statistics and machine learning a plus
• Experience working in a financial services environment a plus but not required.
