About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team at our Tarkwa office.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed analysis: inventory levels, surplus, parts on order vrs inventory and forecast, parts booked on APR, parts consumption peaks or drops, parts for Reman and other production processes when applicable (hoses, kits…)

• Analyze KPI’s (stock turn, fill rate, surplus) vs targets, current and forecasts in ERP in order to assess deviations to plan and to define corrective actions
• Work with Parts planning to set-up and adjust, if necessary, the ERP parameters for planning methodologies per parts’ categories /

machines: Prognosis, APR, PMA, reman /production kits and piece parts
• Work with Parts procurement to set-up and adjust, if necessary, the ERP parameters for parts procurement / MRP
• Participate to the periodical parts forecast validation meetings with Parts, Customer Support and Reman / Production
• Support the Parts Business manager, Parts planning and Controlling to establish and revise the yearly parts sales and inventory budget
• Support / train the users in their daily job on MIN reporting tools and dashboards related to parts planning and inventory
• Liaise with MIN for evolutions proposed to the reports or when a new report is required to cover local specifics; potentially create the local report if agreed
• Participate to the continuous improvement of processes and organization; provide input to Parts

Competencies

• Analytical background: degree in statistics, mathematics, economics or computer science
• Proficient in data analytics, data modelling, use of analytic tools (Excel and / or advanced tools)
• Proficient in creating BI reports and SQL programming
• Experience in sales management ERP systems is an added value; will need to understand the mathematical computation in system
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• General understanding of parts sales, planning, procurement, internal and external logistic processes
• A technical background can be an added value

• Process driven: ability to create structure and process to make complex tasks simple.
• Problem solving – analysis orientated: ability to translate business problems into data analysis; be data driven in problem understanding
• Ability to work in a team
