Data Analyst

Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and integration processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, creating insightful reports, and ensuring seamless data integration across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to deliver actionable insights and maintain efficient data pipelines. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize data trends and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into meaningful reports.
• Microsoft Fabric Expertise:
  • Utilize Microsoft Fabric to manage, process, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Implement best practices in data modeling, warehousing, and analytics using Microsoft Fabric tools.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the Microsoft Fabric environment.
• Integration and Data Management:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions to connect disparate systems and databases.
  • Work with ETL tools to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows to ensure data is flowing correctly between systems.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and management, to gather data requirements and deliver insights.
  • Provide training and support to users on Power BI and other data tools.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and tools, including ETL processes.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and analytics in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with additional Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages used in data analysis.
• Understanding of business processes and ability to align data solutions with business objectives.
