Data Analyst

Summary/Objective

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Data Analyst who is experienced in developing, maintaining and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions and projects. Partner with leaders and stakeholders across team to develop and deliver end to end dashboard and analytics solutions to enable business insights and decisions. You will be the subject matter expert in creating interactive visualizations and automated reporting to support business goals.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions using tools available in the landscape including and not limited to Tableau, Sales Force, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides or custom Microsoft based reporting solutions, etc.

• Work with adoption specialists to track customer marketing campaigns and make strategically sound decisions based on analysis of data
• Provide insight regarding interpretation of data and trends (explain the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of data results)
• Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, produce data samples/prototypes and produce adhoc reports. Obtain and analyze data by accessing multiple sources
• Evaluate and utilize appropriate tools available in the toolkit to streamline report generation and provide speed to business leader decision making, including self–serving tools that enable users to analyze data through many business dimensions with visibility to granular and historical data
• Modify / improve existing reports/dashboards as directed
• Evaluate and plan activities to implement automation of manual data extracts and other manual activities supporting any reporting currently supported by you
• Create all required documentation on all projects using pre-defined templates and keep documentation up to date on any existing report changes and facilitate training & rollout of new tools
• Assess the effectiveness and track overall customer adoption programs to continually adjust strategies and find new ways to drive greater engagement.
• Provide guidance on best practices and approaches to design and implement effective and standardized Tableau driven dashboards and analytics
• Provide metrics to support Customer Case Studies
• Own and support CAST customer pipeline reporting including but not limited to Campaigns status and performance
• Provide Cohort Analysis for Customers, Markets and Industries
• Pull data to provide winners to CAST campaigns

Supervisory Responsibility

This role will not manage a team.

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Data Analyst
• Bachelor’s degree within a marketing/ business related field
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience in architecting, designing, developing BI and other analytical, reporting solutions using standard BI tools
• Experience performing an analyst role, preferably with some project management.
• Experience in creation of functional specifications and project documentation and translating functional requirements into detailed technical requirements.
• Has strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong experience in Tableau Ecosystem (Prep, Desktop, Server, Online)
• Experience in problem solving / conflict resolution, critical thinking and priority setting.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Access and Power Point, Google Sheets.
• Experience in working with several groups of data and users simultaneously.
• Experience in being innovative and having strong analytic skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strong time management skills.
• Upmost eye for detail, deriving trends and providing guidance to leadership
• The ability to multitask and perform under pressure, this role will provide the insights to continue fueling customer adoption within Paymentus

Work Environment

This role requires use of standard office equipment such as a laptop computer.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to travel.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Up to 5% Travel, minimal.
