The ERP Configuration, Product, and Data Quality Manager ensures quality data creation and maintenance of configuration and product data relating to Bills of Materials (BOM) and individual items in product lifecycle management (PLM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. The role tracks quality levels to ensure operational effectiveness by minimizing operating costs and limiting defects and work stoppages. The position will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify variances and take corrective action through root cause analysis. The position provides stewardship to ensure quality, operating, financial, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved. The position assists in designing policy, processes, key performance indicators, and master data attributes for the Global Supply Chain value stream.

What You'll Do

  • Improve and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures for the ERP system and Product Data Management organization.

  • Enforce and refine data quality processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues, implement corrective actions through root cause analysis (RCA), and complete corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) workshops.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of ERP PDM data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors.

  • Assist department leaders in the construction of standard work/job instructions.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track data quality metrics and adherence to service levels.

  • Display and be prepared to brief organizational teams/leaders on quality KPIs.

  • Lead data quality improvement initiatives, including data cleansing and standardization efforts, through kaizen workshops and A3 coaching.

  • Provide leadership and training to a team of data quality analysts and specialists.

  • Assures successful implementation of standard global processes, evaluates end-to-end performance, and adjusts as needed.

  • Contribute to an ongoing continuous improvement culture and practices to focus on proactive solutions instead of reactive ones.

  • Contributes substantive content to change management plans, reports, processes, business policy, regulations, and SOPs with minimal guidance.

  • Contributes substantive content to define requirements for information systems required to facilitate and support business process improvements and procedures and with the development and application of organizational-wide information models.

  • Occasional travel either nationally or internationally as required

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or information technology. Education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

  • 5-7 years of experience in data quality management.

  • Experience facilitating and participating in process improvement and root cause analysis workshops.  

  • Prior experience managing containments and countermeasures to mitigate or eliminate root causes.  

  • Systems implementation and project management experience is highly preferred.

  • Managerial experience in a public company operating within a heavily regulated environment is preferred. 

  • Proven ability to effectively manage people. 

  • Experience providing in-depth reporting and presentations to top-level executives.  

  • Strong technical skills, including database tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

  • Proven experience with data analysis and statistical modeling using R/Python/SAS.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Google Cloud, or Snowflake. 

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps Portal, and Dynamics 365.

Pay Range

$94,747 - $175,960 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
