What You'll Do
Data Collection and Integration:
Lead the design and oversee the process of using systems for the collection of environmental data, including emissions, energy consumption, and other relevant metrics.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of data from diverse sources.
Data Analysis and Modeling:
Advanced statistical and machine learning techniques are used to analyze large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
Lead the development of predictive models to assess environmental impact and identify areas for improvement in sustainability practices.
Reporting and Visualization:
Create informative and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Present data-driven recommendations for improving ESG performance and reducing environmental impact.
Data Integrity Check, Quality Assurance, and Remediation:
Design, Develop, and implement proactive measures for identifying and addressing data quality issues, ensuring the reliability of environmental datasets.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define and implement data remediation strategies, resolving discrepancies and inaccuracies in a timely manner.
Utilize data profiling and cleansing techniques to improve the overall quality and consistency of ESG and emission data.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ESG and environmental data science.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes and methodologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sustainability, operations, and technology, to ensure alignment with overall organizational goals.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, communications, project management, engineering, statistics, environmental science, or related field.
Advanced degree in Data Management or Analytics (nice to have)
10+ years proven experience in leading large scale data management programs, focus on environmental data and sustainability (plus)
Strong communication skills with a keen ability to work with and influence others.
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization. (SQL skills a must)
AI knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and frameworks.
Familiarity with carbon accounting and emission reduction strategies.
Experience working with sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CDP, TCFD).
Working knowledge of cloud-based data management technologies such as Google, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of document capture technologies or enterprise content management tools is a plus

Travel Expectations
Pay Range
$160,145 - $297,412 per yearOur goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
