Job Title: Insights Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team:

Business Bank (BB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers

Impact & contribution:

  • Your business acumen and technical knowhow will be the crucial mechanism to bring the vision of our stakeholders to reality.
  • You will be working with both our business and technical stakeholders to understand and challenge their goals, advise on approach and ensure the most optimal solution is implemented for different projects.
  • You will frequently be required to participate within project teams, receiving direction and support from Managers in other departments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams with Marketing and Business Segment colleagues to develop campaign initiatives that assist in meeting objectives, with a specific focus on using data and insights to create relevant messaging which speaks to whole-of-customer needs
  • Pro-actively engage with stakeholders by supplying customer insights which determine appropriate analytics requirements to recommend marketing and customer engagement strategies
  • Data extraction, manipulation and analysis of customer and other data using analytical and data mining tools
  • Act as an expert in advising and promoting Test and Learn methodologies to ensure quality insights
  • Using advanced business acumen, translate complex business requirements and objectives into technical briefing to support the delivery of data-driven customer communications
  • Generate and maintain performance measurement reports; communicate learnings in an accessible manner to non-technical partners; and make recommendations for future activity
  • Refine and optimise campaign activities based on post-campaign analysis to maximise campaign profitability or marketing objectives

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in production grade data architecture – e.g. ability to create, modify and review code of production standard to create reporting tables off source system data
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Min. Undergraduate technical degree B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent or post-graduation degree in Computer Applications or IT with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Desirable – experience in SAS / R / Python
  • Experience in building BI reporting – e.g. Tableau, R Shiny
  • Experience in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) technology – SQL, Alteryx etc

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
