Job Description

An expert in data analysis who will help design the organization's enterprise data architecture. Responsible in determining how its structured and unstructured data will be integrated/shared and reported by different IT application systems. Will align architecture principles to the overarching enterprise architecture principles. This role will work towards building an enterprise data model, establishing a central dictionary of standard common business vocabulary, defining a strategy and set of principles for data quality management, master data management, and data integration. This role will be able to use technical knowledge and expertise to develop innovative technical solutions that align to business, IT, and architecture vision as a whole.

Data Architecture and Integration

• Develop data architecture blueprints, flow diagrams, and manage data lifecycle.

• Implement effective data integration processes for optimal handling and synchronization.

• Oversee creation and accuracy of data definitions and catalogs.

• Assess and identify gaps in data landscapes, recommending solutions like data cleanup.

• Lead data cleanup and collaborate on design fixes with the Architecture, Planning and Design team.

• Design and implement tools to monitor data quality.

Data Governance and Compliance

• Recommend improvements for data handling and address process gaps.

• Continually update data quality and integrity standards per industry best practices.

• Formulate and enforce data policies, defining roles for all data stakeholders.

• Partner with the Change Management team to assess data impacts.

• Develop data quality metrics as shared KPIs to maintain data integrity.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and data governance frameworks.

Data Quality Management

• Establish and implement data quality rules and metrics tied to business impacts.

• Monitor data quality, report breaches, and conduct root cause analyses.

• Collaborate on testing, deployment, and maintenance of Data Auditing Tools.
