As a key member of the Tech Data & Analytics team (Tech D&A), you will play a pivotal role in leading the Architecture chapter team. You will manage a team of 20+ data architects specialized in several fields (compute, flows, BI, …). Your team's members are integrated within the various data products squads. This team will be responsible for the overall data architecture strategies and the implementation of it within each data product. Additionally, they will be instrumental in shaping the Global Architecture  guidelines, build a strong expert community and ensuring consistency and high-quality standards across the development. As the team lead,  you will guarantee architecture consistency, best practices, guidelines, people allocation in squads and keep the data architect community skills and knowledges at a top-class level.

Your key missions: 

  • Define Chapter agenda, in line with global vision & ambitions defined by Chapter Director

  • Define, maintain & document comprehensive reference frameworks on their scope, securing consistency of Chapter practices & alignment with other Chapter approaches

  • Manage Chapter members, ensuring an optimal allocation of resources across squads (incl. staffing management, people management, budget & cost management...), coordinate with Tech leadership in case of conflict/issues (arbitration on staffing...)

  • Drive Chapter community management (incl. knowledge management, research & innovation, team engagement...)

  • Provide insights & expertise at key steps to Chapter members, securing effective application of defined standards

  • Identify, mitigate or escalate any risk/interdependency identified on their scope, and directly oversee key cross-products/domains or critical Chapter initiatives

  • Define key metrics to monitor the performance & quality of services delivered by the Chapter, and drive the continuous improvement of associated capability within Pernod Ricard

  • Oversee governance & reporting on Chapter agenda (including stakeholders management...)

  • Promote Chapter initiatives & contribution to value creation within Pernod Ricard

  • Contribute to driving the transition towards innovative & agile ways of working/thinking within Chapters, and engage in cross-chapters innovation initiatives

  • Stakeholder management & C-level engagement

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both technical & non-technical stakeholders

  • Previous experience managing a team in a matrixed environment (including staffing, budget...)

  • Animation & community management

  • Expertise in relevant skills for the Chapter (incl. past experiences in associated roles/positions)

  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies & ways of working

  • Sound understanding of Pernod Ricard tech strategy & ecosystem

  • Team leadership

Experience: 8-10 years of experience.
