Job Title: Power BI & Tableau Developer
Experience Required: 5-8 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI & Tableau Developer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and delivering dynamic and insightful data visualizations and dashboards. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and data analytics, with the ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Dashboard and Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
Data Modeling: Create and manage data models to ensure efficient data analysis and visualization performance.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements and reporting needs.
Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.) into Power BI and Tableau for comprehensive reporting and visualization.
Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights to support decision-making processes.
Performance Optimization: Optimize dashboard performance by improving data load times, dashboard responsiveness, and query performance.
Data Transformation: Use tools like Power Query, DAX, and Tableaus calculated fields to transform data and create advanced visualizations.
Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for data sources, reports, and dashboards, ensuring transparency and ease of use for end-users.
Best Practices: Ensure adherence to data visualization best practices, including UI/UX principles for business intelligence (BI) dashboards.
Security and Governance: Implement data security and governance standards, ensuring proper access control and permissions in Power BI and Tableau environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Power BI and Tableau development, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
Power BI Expertise: Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query, and managing Power BI workspaces.
Tableau Expertise: Strong experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, calculated fields, blending data, and creating interactive dashboards.
Data Skills: Experience working with SQL, Excel, and other relational databases to extract, transform, and load data (ETL processes).
Visualization Best Practices: Deep understanding of data visualization principles, including chart types, layout design, and user interface (UI) best practices.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
Performance Tuning: Experience in optimizing the performance of dashboards and reports by using techniques like data aggregation, incremental refresh, etc.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
