Location:- Remote

Job Summary:

Senior Analyst – Analytics has a strong technical background in the Enterprise Reporting/Analytics area. Has strong fundamentals around the ETL, Datawarehouse modelling and Report building skills. Has good understanding of the functional aspects of the business and can interact with the business. Has a natural flair towards learning new things in the technical space and stay aligned with the company’s analytics roadmap. Has a customer-first attitude and passionately interacts with the business users, respond to their queries and solve their day-to-day issues and reporting requirements. And most importantly Is a great Team Player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take complete ownership of the Analytics System from technical perspective.
• Create ETL flows for new reporting models. Maintain and Enhance the existing ones.
• Take ownership for the daily data refreshes from source to the datawarehouse.
• Participate with business users for requirement gathering and convert that into a technical design document.
• Identify the performance bottle-necks in the report and resolve the same.
• Provide good solutions/approaches for any complex requirements.
• Provide expert advice to DW team members with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge.
• Understanding the data that will be available on Source Systems in business terms.
• Proficient in customization and configuration of MSBI product suite
• Proficient in all three components of MSBI (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)
• Ability to evaluate technical approaches and discuss pros and cons of each to arrive at a design.
• Should have excellent understanding of MS SQL Server Architecture.
• Good Functional Knowledge in the areas of Sales & Distribution, Material Management, Finance and Production Planning preferably on a SAP ECC system.
• Strong Datawarehousing and Data Modelling Concepts.
• Strong data modelling experience on either SAP BW / SAP HANA.
• Strong T-SQL knowledge is highly desired.
• Hands-on any of the Self-Serve/Front-End Reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI etc.
• Excellent Knowledge on ETL/ELT (Data extraction, data transformation and data load processes) on MSBI platform.
• Aware of the standard Change management and Project management processes.
• This role will focus on Support, Enhancements and new Projects.

Years of Relevant Work Experience Required: 6-10 Years

Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:

1. Worked on core Datawarehouse/ Analytics / Enterprise Reporting related platform and projects > 6 years.
2. Strong hold on MSBI Analytics suite (SQL DB/SSMS/SSRS/SSAS) is highly desirable.
3. Strong T-SQL/ PL-SQL Programming skills are highly desirable.
4. Strong ETL and Data Modelling skills.
5. Worked on other datawarehouse platforms like SAP BW, SAP BW on HANA with willingness to move to Microsoft platform.
6. Hand-On with any of the visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI etc.
7. Knowledge of any other programming languages like R , Python, Pyspark will a plus.
