Role Purpose:

This role will lead the data and analytic maturation process and cultural build-out across Everest International Insurance (EII). You will work with all aspects of data strategy, data governance, data quality, and data availability, with the purpose of enabling better operational business decisions. As part of the global Data & Analytics team, you will partner with IT and Operations, as well as stakeholders across EII to drive our data and analytic strategy and culture forward.

Key Accountabilities:

Data Management & Strategy:

  • Manage strategic data initiatives, cohesive data strategy, and policy.
  • Consult with business stakeholders and address data quality and availability issues.
  • Identify opportunities to rationalize and modernize data, reporting, & self-service solutions.
  • Develop data for data service or analytic services.
  • Work with business and IT to appropriately govern data within applications

Analytic strategy management and analytic service delivery

  • As a thought leader in the analytic space, challenge and drive the business and challenge the art of the possible and distill complex business information into actionable insight.
  • Drive a problem-solving structure or framework that focuses on identifying and resolving hypothesis formulation, and that solves specific problems identified across EII.
  • Design and develop business intelligence using advanced analytic techniques, develop data and reporting tools following company’s best practices and approved methodologies.
  • Develop data visualizations and create dashboards skills with business intelligence application (Power BI).
  • Visualize and develop solutions to highlight trends and anomalies in data.
  • Collaborate with IT and other members of the Business Performance Analytics team to create a reporting solution that is robust, reliable and quick-to-market.
  • Drive data accuracy and integrity to drive improved insights and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver analytic assets Drive outcomes / hands on.

Knowledge & Skills

As a proven leader, you will be extremely knowledgeable in areas of modern data management techniques and analytic processes ideally within the Insurance industry, and have a track record in effective change management, driving and delivering projects and meeting deadlines.

As a proven collaborative and consultative partner to stakeholders at all levels, you must have the ability to solve problems, exercise sound judgement and translate business problems into Data & Analytics focused solutions.

You must be proficient in Excel and Powerpoint and have experience in enterprise reporting tools, and able to work independently.
