Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation:

• Own the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric architectures to support sophisticated analytics and data processing requirements.
• Design the OneLake to handle and integrate diverse data sources into a unified data platform.
• Be responsible for the development and optimization of MS Fabric Job Definitions to ensure efficient data processing and transformation.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction transformation and loading processes.
• Apply PySpark to build scalable data pipelines and perform complex data transformations.
• Monitor and fix data processing workflows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Design scalable, secure, and efficient data models and data flows.
• Implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data movement across systems.

Data Management:

• Oversee data governance, data quality, and data security initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
• Manage metadata and master data management processes.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment of data architecture with business goals.

Optimization and Innovation:

• Continuously evaluate and optimize data architecture for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data architecture and Microsoft Fabric.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve data management and analytics capabilities.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
• Strong background in data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark and other relevant programming languages.
• Demonstrate proficiency in developing and optimizing Spark job definitions.
• Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology , Engineering, or a related field.
• B.E / B.Tech/ BCA/ MBA/ MCA Full-Time Education
