We are looking for Data Management Analyst within ANZ Institutional Banking GCC Data Management team.

The Data Management Analyst plays a crucial role in Institutional division’s data management capability and the division’s adherence to the Enterprise Data Governance Framework. The Data Management Analyst performs extensive analysis activities across Institutional data, processes and systems; coordinates specific processes such as Data Impact Assessments (DIA); engages with projects; and manages the division’s risks associated with data access, storage, movement, and usage. The role works with a wide range of stakeholders across the Division (business, operations, technology) and Group (enterprise data, technology, risk)

What will your day look like?

• Act as SME of Data Impact Assessment (DIA) in Institutional division

• Engage with projects and key stakeholders to understand changes

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to analyse processes and systems, and their data risk implications

• Liaise with Enterprise Data Risk and other divisions’ data management teams to fully assess data change impact

• Perform other data governance and management activities as required

• Assist in embedding critical data governance in the Division

• Help developing training material and education to promote sound data management and governance practices in the Division.

What will you bring?

• 4 plus years’ experience in Data Management/ Analytics.

• Demonstrated experience working with data.

• Problem-solving skills to adopt data management frameworks in complex real business scenarios.

• An understanding of non-financial risk framework (I.AM Amplified)

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills

• Analytical and inquisitive mindset

• Thorough approach to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy.

• Ability to effectively communicate to all stakeholders (translate technical into non-technical and vice-versa)

• Understanding of the project lifecycle and associated checkpoints.
