Intern Generative AI (m/f/d)

As part of Allianz Technology, our Data and Analytics Platforms (DAP) department is designed to empower businesses by providing Allianz Operating Entities with the tools and insights they need to make data-driven decisions. We leverage advanced technologies to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data, turning it into actionable insights. We offer a range of analytics tools, from descriptive and diagnostic analytics to predictive and prescriptive analytics, enabling businesses to understand past trends, analyze current situations, predict future outcomes, and make optimal decisions. We are a multinational team with colleagues from all over the world working together in various locations like Germany, Spain, Hungary, India, Thailand, and many more. Our operating model is especially successful due to strong collaboration between our teams across many nationalities and time zones.

What you do

• Model Development: You will assist in designing, developing, and fine-tuning generative AI models to meet specific project requirements.
• Data Analysis: You will conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform AI model development.
• Algorithm Implementation: You will implement and test various AI algorithms, ensuring they perform effectively and efficiently.
• Collaboration: You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other team members to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Research: You will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI and machine learning, and apply relevant findings to ongoing projects.
• Documentation: You will maintain detailed documentation of AI models, algorithms, and processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Performance Optimization: You will continuously evaluate and optimize the performance of AI models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.

What you bring

• Educational Background: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Business Development, Marketing, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
• Knowledge of AI Concepts: Understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and generative models such as GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks) and VAEs (Variational Autoencoders).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Passion for AI: A genuine interest in artificial intelligence and a desire to learn and grow within the field. 

• You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for 6 months in full-time (38h/week).
