The Position 

DD&IT PS API – Digital and Robotics is looking for the next addition to our technical team. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of solutions including the infrastructure, testing for the benefit of API manufacturing production.  

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Provide technical expertise for MI Data-lake components and implement MLOps frameworks. 

  • Lead and define end-to-end architecture for data pipeline solutions in collaboration with colleagues. 

  • Act as a developer, tester, and deployment specialist for data pipelines

  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into sustainable solutions. 

  • Collect, process, and validate data from various sources to ensure data integrity. 

  • Automate repetitive processes and identify value creation opportunities for API manufacturing. 

  • Build, deploy, and maintain digital products, focusing on continuous delivery and next-gen architecture. 

 

Qualifications 

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, including work in large organizations or as a consultant/intern, with experience in regulated industries as an advantage. 

  • Proficiency in Python, R, SAS, with experience in Go, Java, C++, C#, or Rust. 

  • Experience with Linux, CI/CD tools, Docker (or similar), and software development best practices. 

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses (preferably Redshift). 

  • Familiarity with networking design, management, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server). 

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Danish is a plus. 

 

On a more personal level, you should have excellent communication and leadership skills. You should be able to mentor and guide more junior profiles or have the ambition to develop in that area. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are also important in the position. 

 

About the Department 

DD&IT PS API – Digital and Robotics is currently growing, and we need an additional member in our team within the Development domain.  

Being part of PS API, our goal is to create value by collaborating with the API sites, understanding their needs, and building the future of API. We have a strong focus on the use of data and technology as the base for understanding our processes, increasing process transparency, standardization, and driving optimizations.  

 

Our efforts strive for increasing digitalization in the process and reducing manual interventions by utilizing the skills and capabilities in our team and our network across Novo Nordisk. Help us make API the forefront of technology to make the future more sustainable and efficient.
