As a Senior Quantitative Analytics Associate  in the Point of Sale Central Analytics Team in Fraud Customer Protection Services, you will join a forward-thinking team that seeks to prevent plastics fraud through data-driven analysis. You will develop and advance reporting dashboards, optimize data consumption practices, and work with cross-business partners to promote benefits in all aspects of fraud prevention. Your role will involve analyzing big data, understanding complex systems, identifying opportunities, and creating solutions. We are looking for a self-driven problem solver with a strong sense of ownership

Job responsibilities: 

  • Understand the full lifecycle of a point of sale transaction, identify improvement opportunities, and execute on them
  • Build, develop and maintain reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions
  • Modernize reporting infrastructure and data interface on cloud - 
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and deliver updates on key projects to leadership teams
  • Seek to improve internal analytical techniques and introduce best practices to help improve on key business metrics
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to understand and address key business challenges
  • Identify business opportunity by performing well though analysis – data mining, ensuring data integrity, synthesizing, and communication findings to senior management
  • Interpret large amounts of complex data to formulate problem statement, concise conclusions regarding underlying risk dynamics, trends, and opportunities, as well as provide clear and concise oral and written communication across various functions and levels, inclusive of Operations, IT, and Risk Management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

  • MS degree and 3 years Risk Management or other quantitative experience
  • BS degree and minimum 5 years Risk Management or other quantitative experience
  • Background in statistics, mathematics, or other quantitative field 
  • Advanced understanding of Python, SAS, and SQL AND Advanced knowledge of Tableau or equivalent data visualization platforms
  • Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information
  • Experience delivering recommendations to management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with individuals across departments/functions and with senior-level executives

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Familiarity with risk analytic techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter with ability to push for resolution

 

This role does not offer visa sponsorship.

Schedule: Hybrid Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

This is a Hybrid position which will require the incumbent to commute/work on site 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week.
