POSITION SUMMARY

This Business Analytics Senior Advisor will be responsible for leading critical analytical work that supports Customer Experience and Operations Enablement (CX&OE) strategic priorities. They will work closely with CX&OE leadership and their teams to deeply understand the business problems at hand, develop analytical models/insights and build compelling business cases presentations that positively influence go forward strategy. This role will be highly visible, and the individual will be a critical thought partner to the organizations that they directly support.

Primary Functions

  • Business case development​
  • Ad hoc investigation and remediation of emerging issues​
  • Cost / benefit analysis for potential intent changes​
  • Identification of insights and trends via data analytics
  • Success criteria & monitoring plans to measure impact of intent changes​
  • Strategic thought partnership inclusive of deck builds & executive storytelling​
  • Translate Operations needs into business requirements for Tech intent 

Role Components: 

  • Analytics – Employ a range of analytical techniques to identify business opportunities and make strategic recommendations. Individual will identify the right analytical approach given the problem statement / opportunity, analyze data for insights, understand the strengths and weakness of potential solutions and effectively incorporate those into a recommendation.
  • Strategy – Use business acumen and analytical skills to make strategic recommendations to the business through clear and analytically sound business cases. The individual will proactively think beyond “tomorrow” to identify truly transformational opportunities for change through partnership with the business, operations, and other horizontal teams (e.g. Product, Technology, etc.).
  • Data – Leverage a data first approach to identify critical business trends and insights to make specific actionable recommendations. Individual will be responsible for acquiring the data to support their analysis which will require coding knowledge (primarily SQL). Will partner closely with data teams across the company to deeply understand critical operations and business data while learning the most effective way to leverage that data for insights.
  • Communications – Effectively leverage verbal and written communications to efficiently influence the desired outcomes with leadership. Strong deck building, including data visualization, skills are required to create compelling business cases / stories. Individual will be adept at distilling complex analytical work, modeling and insights into easily consumable stories for partners ranging from analytics leaders to key business partners.
  • Teamwork – Role will partner close with Operations, Finance and business teams across the company. Individual will be a key partner for specific operations teams, acting as the resource for insights, data generation and strategic deck building. Will work closely with Finance in development of business case analysis, budgeting, strategic decision making, etc.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business or related field; MBA preferred
  • At least 5 years relevant analytical and/or consulting work experience
  • Strong communication (oral and written), presentation, and facilitation skills
  • An ability to structure project / program plans and actively manage to deadlines
  • An ability to partner across organizations and roles to influence and deliver work
  • Basic proficiency in a coding language
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Excel, Python preferred
  • Work experience in a Strategy and Analytics role (Operations and/or Customer Experience analytics focus preferred) 


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,100 - 181,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
