We’re hiring a Global BI Analyst as part of our team in London working on a hybrid basis.

Purpose of the Role

The Global Business Insights Analyst will help to deliver the Dentsu International (DI) business insights and workforce strategy by driving insight for our business through analytics and report creation, supporting on key projects such as focused POCs across the operations function" .

This role will give you the opportunity to design and create the data environment that will be critical to the reporting and statistical analysis that will be done by you and the wider team. It will also allow you to work with senior people on some key business insight projects. The role reports into the

Global BI Manager and will be part of a team that look after global requirements, including the regional hubs which will also require support.

The role will require you to work collaboratively across the business and functions globally starting with your colleagues within the Global BI team as well as different stakeholders such as IT, HR, Finance, Global Client, and the Data Protection Officer. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support workforce analytics projects and insight generation
  • Create and design global reporting using technology such as Power BI and Alteryx
  • Build strong knowledge of the DI business, its technology and data sources
  • Being an active member of the Global BI team and community helping and supporting regional markets and practices with key requests
  • Project manage key analytics projects
  • Driving the improvement and rigor of people data which will include ensuring security and governance
  • Working closely with the HR Information Systems (HRIS) team, Finance, IT and other data providers to support improved data collaboration, awareness, operational effectiveness and data quality
  • Lead on key analytics initiatives across our business working with HRDs, and CoE leads like talent
  • Support the preparation, analysis and presentation of people metrics for review by the Global Data and Analytics Director and other key HR and business stakeholders
  • Helping to identify the latest trends and tools in data and analytics in the market to develop innovative and scalable solutions for DI
  • Work closely with the Chief Data Officer and Legal to ensure security and compliance is at the forefront of any build, analysis and data shared

Candidate Profile

  • Has a passion for data and analytics
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Ability to Project Manage
  • Willing to learn and challenge themselves
  • Can do attitude

Complimentary Skills – not a must

  • Previous HR/ Operations knowledge or experience
  • Have statistical experience
  • Have knowledge of Analytics tools such as Power BI or Alteryx
  • Awareness and experience of applying governance and rigor to data – understanding of GDPR

Key Experiences

  • They will be able to deliver insight from data by exploring, visualising and story telling
  • Can manage projects that span wider teams. This may be around Workforce planning, MDM, Talent analytics or Utilisation. It is less about what the deliverable is and more about delivering a project with multiple stakeholders
