We’re looking for a Data Governance Specialist Analyst of Responsible DataUse to join our ever evolving Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team

This key position, within the EDG team that sits within Data Strategy & Solutions (DSS) organization, is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence, robust data governance practices, standards, and guidelines and compliance to data policies, standards, and processes. The Data Governance Specialist Analyst – Responsible Data Use will help to lead the definition, implementation and adherence to organization’s data governance frameworks, processes and systems, to drive strategic and responsible use of data, while applying principles of innovation and efficiency

What you’ll own it:

(This is a process driven position, non technical)

  • Building and overseeing processes and procedures within the global enterprise Responsible Data Use function

  • Cultivating and embedding a strong responsible data use culture across the company.

  • Partnering with Second Line Risk Management stakeholders to govern the enterprise data risk management framework and related policies and processes

  • Establishing and writing data risk management policies, standards, and guidelines

  • Delivering the strategy and framework to deliver a contract metadata governance capability to the organization.

  • Documenting data governance workflows, playbooks, standards, guidelines, taxonomies, operating procedures, and corporate data policies.

  • Creating and owning business and functional requirements documents, logical solution designs, and implementation plans

  • Demonstrating proactive thought-leadership by actively keeping up to date on industry trends and developments by making recommendations for areas of opportunity and improvement.

  • Preparing and presenting strategic Executive-level presentations and associated documentation.

Where you’ll own it

You’ll own it in our thriving Cincinnati, OH hub. While we’re a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person. 

What you bring

(This is a process driven position, non technical)

  • Extensive experience with data governance as a practice, including enterprise data management, data quality, data lineage, meta data management, data methodologies, data analytics and reporting, and the ethical use of data and artificial intelligence (AI).

  • Experience working on data and analytical processes, interacting, and collaborating with Technology teams in development and implementation of solutions to enable data governance capabilities, mitigate risks, and drive awareness and adoption data governance policies and standards across all data users

  • Experience building, implementing, and governing business processes

  • High-level understanding of global Data Privacy Regulation (i.e. GDPR, CCPA), local data-centric regulations (i.e. SOX, GLBA), and industry best practices (i.e. AI Ethics, PII, DCAM, IAPP and PCI credentials and certifications)

  • High-level understanding artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science concepts, methodology, techniques, and technologies

  • Ability to build relationships and credibility across the organization.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the IT staff.

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $111,410.00 - $187,180.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
