Data Engineer

The purpose of this role is to maintain, improve, clean and manipulate data in the business’s operational and analytics databases. The Data Engineer works with the business’s software engineers, data analytics teams, data scientists and data warehouse engineers in order to understand and aid in the implementation of database requirements, analyse performance, and troubleshoot any existent issues.

• Should have experience with Snowflake
• Proficient in SQL
• Good Hands on with python.
• Should have dealt with large volumes of data.

Must Have Skills:

• Strong knowledge of software engineering and development methodologies, Python, SQL, techniques, and tools, including Version Controls (Bitbucket), Issue Tracking(Jira), and  Software Development Lifecycle (waterfall; agile), , unit testing/integration testing, AWS services, source control usage and practices, Familiar with SQL and relational database design.

Good to have Skills: 

• Experience with Snowflake and AWS.
