About this role:

Gartner IT is currently seeking an exceptional leader who will assume the responsibility of technical implementation around Data Integrations & Data Quality. 

The Senior Director will be technical leader who helps define & implement integration models for connecting Salesforce with other internal, external applications and data sources to ensure key data quality requirements are met with such integrations so quality data flows between various Gartner systems. They will also collaborate closely with the Master Data Management team, Source teams, and Data Stewardship team to implement technical frameworks, automated data quality checks & quality reporting dashboards to provide visibility and progress on various data quality challenges.

What you will do:

  •  Work with business partners and IT system owners to design and clearly define highly secure & scalable data integration models for connecting Salesforce with other internal, external applications and data sources ensure data quality is never compromised by such integrations. 

  • Technical SME in defining best practices around salesforce integration with other SaaS or on prem legacy applications to create a unified and trusted  customer 360  view.

  • Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality, availability, and completeness. 

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues. Implement robust processes to eliminate these issues and ensure continuous improvement.

  • Develop visually captivating dashboards and other analytical insights using Power BI. Keep key stakeholders informed about the extent of Data Quality issues and provide regular updates on the progress made in resolving them.

  • Lead the strategic evolution of our tooling around automation testing, driving it to the next level of efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Monitor and analyze IT data, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs). Use these metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize IT processes.

  • Effectively communicate technical concepts, influence decision-making, and build consensus among stakeholders.

What you will need: 

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience of 7+ years in the Sales force integration space with good exposure to Data Quality or Master Data Management space.

  • Extensive experience in improving complex business processes and integrating various source systems like salesforce and master data management systems.

  • Previous hands on experience of implementing data quality frameworks & data quality automation to quickly detect and fix data quality issues.

  • Technical expertise in understanding modern data integration solutions based on event bridge and other similar technologies in hub and spoke architecture.

  • Proven track record in leading technical teams to resolve complex data integration &  data quality challenges.

  • Hands on experience with Master Data Management tools like Ataccama is a plus.

  • Proven track record around establishing technical solutions around data quality that deal with SaaS platforms like salesforce, API testing & Database testing.

  • Previous experience in BI development using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.

  • Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment across technology teams.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with a natural curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and analyses in a clear and accessible manner.

  • Leadership skills to mentor and guide a team of quality analysts and business analysts in their daily tasks.

  • Good understanding of firmographic data providers and best practices related to merging duplicate data.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 136,000 USD - 184,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
