Junior Data Engineer

We are searching for a junior Data Engineer who already possesed some data engineering skills and experience with Snowflake.

What we are looking for:

Ideally:

• Knowledge of Snowflake scripting - stored procedures (SQL), user defined functions, Common Table Expressions
• Experience in creation of PLSQL procedures.
• Knowledge of general use of Snowpark 
• Ability to process Parquet, JSON semi structured data in Snowflake using parse Json, lateral flatten
• DBT (Data build tool) DBT Cloud and DBT core hands on experience in creating models as per requirements.
• DBT experience in creating and using hooks, automated tests, snapshots.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in Snowflake and DBT
• Understanding concepts of  data sharing, replication, secure views, row access policies.
• Confident usage of tags, tasks, external tables, clone, storage integration, stages, file format
• Experience working with Visual Studio Code IDE.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of Azure Devops pipelines, repos.
• Familiarity with git concepts like creation of branches, committing changes, cloning repository, creation of pull requests.
• Understanding of basics AWS services: S3, EC2:
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in multinational teams 
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving tools and practices in the data engineering ecosystem.
• Qualifications nice to have: Any Snowflake certification.

What you will be doing:

• You will be programming in Python and SQL.
• You will be building data pipelines using Agile approach.
• You will be transforming data using DBT.
