About the role

At Tietoevry Care’s Data & AI unit we are reshaping healthcare and social care services by providing our customers with data- driven solutions and cloud data platforms. Our Data & AI team consists of high-end professionals working in data science, data engineering, data modelling, data advisory, cloud solutions, security and software development.

We are a growing international team of talented, continuously improving experts. With us you get to work with latest technologies, innovative new solutions and create wellbeing for the society

As a Senior Data Developer, you will have a key role in developing and designing data driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics - platform. You will be working in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer’s experts.

To succeed in this role we would like you to have

• Several years of Professional software development experience

• Several years of Hands-on experience of data driven solutions

• Strong software development skills in Python and SQL (or other software programming languages)

• Strong Knowledge of big data related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse or Apache Spark

• Experience of cloud solutions

• Passion to continuously learn new things and aim higher

• Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems

• Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team

• Excellent communications skills in English and Finnish.

The following additional experience is valued:

• Experience of social care and healthcare data

• Data warehouse, data lakes or lakehouse

• Dimensional data modelling, star schemas and data marts

• Development of Power BI
