We’re currently looking for a Manufacturing Analytics Intern to join our Digital Transformation team at the largest US Vehicle Plant located Smyrna, TN. 

A Day in the Life:   

• Collaborate with manufacturing departments to develop vision systems that allow inspecting and detecting quality issues with parts and vehicles, and read characters using OCR technology
• Program machine learning models particularly deep learning applications for image classification and image recognition (still images and video) and its deployment to an edge device for testing on the production floor

Who We’re Looking for: 

• Must be currently enrolled entering senior year in an undergraduate program or enrolled in graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering Degree
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Ability to learn new concepts independently and apply to business problems
• Strong programming skills (SQL, R, Python) with some experience in machine learning (TensorFlow libraries)
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Ability to perform work onsite in Smyrna, TN
