Als Jabil Optics Germany GmbH in Jena sind wir Teil des weltweit zweitgrößten Auftragsfertigers Jabil und führend bei der Entwicklung von opto-elektro-mechanischen Modulen für Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality, moderne Kamerasysteme sowie Gestensteuerung/ 3D Sensing. Zur Verstärkung unseres Entwicklungsstandorts in Jena suchen wir unbefristet und in Vollzeit ab sofort eine/n:

Software Developer für opto-elektro-mechanische Systeme (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgaben:

• eigenständige Entwicklung und Dokumentation von hardwarenahen Softwarelösungen mit Schwerpunkt Sensorsysteme, LIDAR, Kamerasysteme
• Mitarbeit an dem “hauseigenen“ Software-Framework für Sondermaschinen
• Entwicklung und Test von Applikationssoftware zur Prozessautomatisierung und Integration kundenspezifischer Bibliotheken
• Weiterentwicklung bestehender APIs und Integration neuer Hardware in Zusammenarbeit mit einem internationalen Team
• Erarbeitung von System-Anforderungen für Software-Systeme und Komponenten
• Entwicklung von Algorithmen zur automatisierten Auswertung von Bild- und Sensordaten
• Gestaltung der Steuerungssoftware für Fertigungsanlagen mit Beckhoff Komponenten
• Unterstützung bei der Inbetriebnahme von produkt- und kundenspezifischen Sondermaschinen und Testsystemen
• kontinuierliche Verbesserung des Softwareentwicklungsprozesses

Ihr Profil:

• abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Bachelor/ Master/ Diplom) der Fachrichtungen Elektrotechnik, Technische Informatik, Embedded Systems, Automatisierungstechnik o. Ä.
• erste oder mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in industrieller Entwicklungsumgebung in ähnlicher Tätigkeit
• Kenntnisse in mindestens zwei Programmiersprachen (z.B. C, C++, Python, C# etc.)
• Erfahrung in der Durchführung und Dokumentation von Softwaresystemtests oder Unit-Tests
• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Versionskontrollsystemen sowie Softwarekenntnisse/ RTOS (Beckhoff, Siemens, etc.)/ Signalverarbeitung/ Computer Vision (z.B. LabView, MatLab, OpenCV, Twin-CAT etc.)
• Freude an wechselnden Kundenanforderungen in Zusammenarbeit mit sehr kollegialen Teams in abwechslungsreichen und innovativen Projekten
• gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift
