Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in simplifying and rationalizing programs of increasing complexity.
  • 2 years of experience in team (direct or indirect) leadership in Technical Infrastructure.
  • Experience in supply chain, leading in multiple disciplines across a distinguished technical career.
  • Experience with managing through ERP, Planning system, and other Integrated Planning transformations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Supply Chain.

As the Director, Machine Learning Capacity Planning you will lead a transformation portfolio in a way that maximizes scale, accelerates business results, increases capabilities, and enables the explosive growth of Google Cloud and Core businesses. To guarantee that the organization focuses on the most crucial opportunities for the business, you will collaborate closely with leaders from Integrated Planning, Cloud Supply Chain Management, and strategic partners across TI.

In this role, you will lead a group that integrates the work of a dozen teams across Google to make sure that Google has a single, well integrated source of truth for ML supply delivery.

You'll also work across several deep technical teams to identify and prioritize opportunities to left-shift ML capability delivery to enable faster Google growth.

You will be called upon regularly by Google’s senior leadership to offer informed opinions about the current and future state of ML capacity and delivery, as well as the technical and logistic feasibility of supporting new, highly complex and high-reward opportunities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$428,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Planning Process and systems vision and roadmap.
  • Support program management for IP transformational innovations and major process changes.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among internal and external stakeholders as needed to drive the complex programming/projects.
  • Orchestrate and deliver the Integrated Planning project portfolio.
  • Leverage industry benchmarking and processes to ensure we are building the right capabilities for our most significant business processes across Integrated Planning.
