Financial Data Specialist

In this role you will be responsible for a managing, analyzing and ensuring the integrity of financial data within HITEC. This role involves working with large datasets, conducting financial analysis, preparing reports and supporting data driven decision making processes. The ideal candidate should have strong analytic skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Your tasks will involve coordinating the consolidation of international HITEC entities, handling regulatory and financial reporting, as well as budgeting and forecasting. By contributing to business cases and various financial projects, you will play a pivotal role in the Financial team. Collaborating with the Regional Controllers from APAC, EMEA and the US, you will report directly to the Group Controller.  

Responsibilities:

·       Collect, organize and maintain financial data from various internal and external sources.

·       Develop and maintain financial databases, dashboards and data management systems.

·       Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making.

·       Assist in forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling activities

·       Prepare detailed financial reports, summaries and visualizations.

·       Present data in a clear and concise manner utilizing tools like Excel, Power BI or Tableau.

·       Identify opportunities to improve data collection, storage and reporting processes.

·       Implement automation tools or techniques to enhance the efficiency of financial data analysis and reporting

·       Supporting the close process for the HITEC group.

Requirements

·       You have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·       Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

·       You are organized and know how to prioritize.

·       You are a team player and enjoy working with different cultural backgrounds.

·       You are able to work independent, but know when to ask for assistance.

·       You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science or a similar experience at his level.

·       2-4 years of experience in financial data analysis, financial reporting or a related role.

·       You are an experienced Excel user and open to become a specialist in reporting software like Power BI or Tableau.

·       Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

·       Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch.

·       You are available for 32 to 40 hours a week.
