Working Student Data Analyst (f/m/d)

We're looking for a motivated and driven Working Student Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join our Market Data Insights' team in Berlin.The team is part of the Network Planning domain, they discover and collect external data, providing external data services to analytics and data science applications. 

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Network Planning team throughout the route and network development process. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Continuous Network Improvement: Analyze our network to enhance our service quality.
• Data Analysis and Processing: Dive into large datasets using scripting languages and write queries in the database.
• PowerBI Reporting: Create and maintain essential PowerBI reports.
• Stakeholder Management: Foster proactive communication with both internal and external stakeholders, addressing their needs and reaching out to them proactively.
• Documentation and Result Processing: Ensure accurate documentation and process work results efficiently.
• Data Quality Assurance: Identify data quality issues and actively contribute to discussions on resolving them.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• You are currently enrolled in university and have at least one year left
• Good understanding of SQL and a keen interest in building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Openness to working and learning within an international and agile environment.
• Passion for the transportation sector and a genuine interest in network planning.
• Familiarity with a Business Intelligence technology, such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a goal-driven personality.
• Ownership mentality and willingness to support your colleagues.
• Fluency in English.
