About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join the Digital Health Strategy Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and extensive experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), particularly with Adobe’s XDM data model. This role also requires experience in Data Engineering using DataBricks and a proven ability to drive operational excellence in a DevOps environment using ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data models to support Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including the implementation and optimization of Adobe’s XDM data model.
- Develop ETL processes to bring data into AEP and transform data from AEP to downstream systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.
- Lead the implementation of data engineering best practices and ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Oversee and optimize data engineering workflows within DataBricks, enhancing data processing and storage capabilities.
- Develop and implement data integration solutions across multiple data sources, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
- Serve as a Lead Service Manager, driving DevOps excellence across the data engineering portfolio.
- Manage and execute ITIL processes, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management using ServiceNow.
- Proactively define and implement an operational excellence agenda, focusing on continuous improvement in data engineering practices and processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on data modeling and ETL processes.
- Expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe’s XDM data model is essential.
- Proven experience in data engineering using DataBricks.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and experience in managing ITIL processes using ServiceNow.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in healthcare or digital health data management.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing technologies.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices.
