Summary

The IT Intern will work closely with data science, dev ops and data engineering teams on analytics projects especially in developing and maintaining an in-house platform for machine model deployment, integration and monitoring. This internship is a great opportunity to work with a professional team helping to solve a variety of analytics-based business problems and gain practical coding experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Internship assignments include architecting, testing and maintaining automated build/deploy pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Projects could include packaging and deployment of production ready machine learning models and associated web apps into a cloud environment.
  • Packaging python and java-based applications using Docker and deployment using Kubernetes.
  • Working with front end developer teams to integrate models within the Azure cloud platform.

Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college of business undergraduate program
  • Must be able to work full-time in Neenah, WI during the summer and potential opportunity to extend internship to work part-time during the school year
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Experience coding in Java, C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience with windows shell scripting is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
